IntroductionWell I am a PK/MK and have moved around quite a bit as a result. First of all, I was born in Arkansas and spent the first ten years of my life in the Ozark Mountains . . . a real hillbilly. Then my parents decided to take a church in rural Alaska. I spent my high school years in Kake, Alaska (a rural Tlingit Indian village on Kupreanof Island). Then I decided to experience true independence and attended college at Simpson College in Redding, California. The primary reason for this choice was its location nowhere near my family. I wanted freedom from the "glass house" PK/MK's have to live. My faith in Christ truly became my own rather than my parents at this time. Now my relationship with my family is better than ever. The best years of my life so far were here. After graduating, I moved to the Bay Area to be near my friends from college. I lived in Fremont, CA for nearly 6 years and during that time I became a teacher. Now I currently live in Concord, Ca and teach High School Government/Economics in Walnut Creek, CA.
