Introduction	So a little about us. Our names are Mary and Ryan. We live in the city. This is a blog about our journey to be self-sufficient in the world we live in today. We will post pictures, recipes, herbal information (medicinal and culinary), gardening info as we learn, and other things that we think might be helpful. Enjoy!
Interests	TRAVELING, missions, card and board games, volleyball, tennis, putt-putt, music, movies, the beach, random online puzzles/games, I'm easily entertained (it's sad really), I'm an extroverted-introvert (try to figure that one out), I love trying hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and I just like to have a good time. I love/am infactuated with butterflies (the cool kind, not the cheesy looking ones), Teen Mania.
Favorite Movies	The Dark Knight, LOTR Trilogy, Batman Begins, X-Men movies, The Princess Bride, Nacho Libre, The Phantom of the Opera, Mission Impossible movies, Pirates of the Carribean movies, Bourne movies, Braveheart, Goonies, and tons more.....I have a huge movie collection
Favorite Music	Plumb, Emery, Tenth Avenue North, Switchfoot, Delirious, Hillsongs United, Jeremy Camp, The Afters, Desperation Band, Jason Morant, Phil Wickham, Matt Kearney, Leeland, Jesus Culture, Kim Walker, Ian McIntosh, Rick Pino, Misty Edwards, and tons more.
Favorite Books	Bible, TED DEKKER ANYTHING, Twilight Series, The DNA of Relationships (the best book to read and to learn about yourself and others and how you react when they push your buttons), and I also enjoy the occasional Christian romance novel

Fav TV shows: CSI: Las Vegas, House, Bones, Heroes, American Idol, 24, and Project Runway. (Okay, I'll admit I like America's Next Top Model too.)
