| Introduction | Adam Taub directs films on bachata, lectures and teaches bachata dance. He Directed the documentary film "The Duke of Bachata" about bachatero Joan Soriano. It was through this experience of creating the film in the Dominican Repbublic, and then screening it at bachata fests around the world that Adam developed many relationships with bachata musicians and dancers and became deeply engaged in bachata. He also teaches bachata dance and has taught at the Albuquerque Latin Dance Fest, San Diego Salsa and Bachata Fest, The Reno Bachata Fest and more. He is currently working on other documentary film projects related to bachata and has created a multimedia presentation on Bachata dance it's history and evolution. |
