| Introduction | Author of: Völuspá: Seiðr as Wyrd Consciousness. http://tinyurl.com/h75d6 Seiðr Sprehhan: The Sayings of Seiðr Yngona Desmond is a Völva and Seiðbearer, a spiritual traveler and sacred pilgrim, visiting and honoring sacred sites in the Americas, across Europe, Scandinavia and Russia. She has spent extensive time in Germany, Spain, Ireland, Wales and Italy, and has trained with Sámi shamans in Finland. Her aim is to reclaim Seiðr as European Shamanism. She enjoys working with Ley-lines, visiting sacred stone sites and creating geo-artwork. She is an earth guardian, and spends a great deal of time outside, dancing with primal and ancestral energies. She lives intimately in the flow of those deep and mystical currents that course across our planet. Unwaveringly, she peers into all realms. Having never been Christian, her worldview is unique for its deeply rooted connectedness and profound sense of understanding of the seemingly impenetrable depths of Old European mysticism and shamanic philosophy. |
