| Introduction | I started blogging a few years ago while living in Ireland as a way to share with those who were interested about our experiences of life and faith. Since then, my wife and I have moved back to the United States. We had no desire or intentions to leave our adopted Irish home, but economic issues beyond our control made the choice a necessity. We've been transplanted in Colorado, USA, and our journey of life and faith continues here. Both Bare Footed Preacher and The Wayfarer are names that reflect my views of how those who follow Christ should walk in this world -- as Jesus did. I care a great deal about how those who claim to follow Christ represent Him, and so a lot of my writings reflect that concern and value. I've learned the value of loving my neighbor -- whoever they should be -- and I believe in the message of hope, love, and grace found in Jesus. This blog reflects my journey and has no other intention other than to encourage the people of Christ to walk as He did -- in love, service, sacrifice, and humility. |
