Introduction	Volunteers at the garden speak to student groups that visit the Interpretive Center. Most of the students are grade school ages; they are told about seeds, propagation, plant needs, soil, beneficial insects, seed collecting, pest control without chemicals, etc. The demonstration gardens are a good teaching aid and there is usually some type of hands-on activity such as planting seeds in peat pots or seed collecting to demonstrate to the visitors.
