| Introduction | I am a south-central Pennsylvania native; I graduated from Dallastown Area High School in the top ten of my class. I attended Penn State University, where I majored in Elementary Education. I graduated with a certifcation covering kindergarten through sixth grade with a GPA of 3.94. Upon graduating, I relocated to the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and taught kindergarten for two years at Sandy Hook Elementary School. I returned to the south-central Pennsylvania area and began teaching sixth grade in 2009. I found that my true passion is with the primary grades and transitioned to a first grade teacher within the same district. In the spring of 2010, I began a Masters program with Harrisburg University in Learning Technologies and Management Solutions. I will be completing my degree in August 2012. |
