| Introduction | I'm a sample based Hip-Hop Producer. Some frown when I say SAMPLE BASED...like it's a bad thing to flip classic records. Without samples there would be no Kanye, Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, DJ Quik or DJ Premier, N.W.A, Public Enemy, Eric B and Rakim, Wu Tang Clan, and countless other Hip-Hop Giants all of us admire and respect. Yo! Janet Jackson's 2001 "All for You" sampled Luther Vandross's 1980 hit "The Glow of Love"...Bet you didn't know that. Check your history mate. My weapon of choice was the AKAI MPC2000XL. Now I use Propellerhead's Reason. My attention to detail makes my production sound big and soulful. Making a hot beat is just the 1st piece in the puzzle to making a hot record...My ultimate goal is to bring the best out of the performer by being supportive and constructive.
