| Introduction | I have been sewing for a long time. My mother taught me. I have been "costuming" since 1995 when my husband suggested attending a local event in "Victorian clothing", Dickens on the Strand in Galveston, Texas. I make something new every year for him, our daughters and myself. Once you do one thing you meet other people and get involved in other reasons to dress up, or at least we do. My husband likes uniforms. I have been making them for him including hats for some of them. There is always something new we are looking forward to making and wearing. |
