Introduction Avram C. Freedberg is founder and president of National Collector's Mint, the nationally recognized coin and collectibles company located in Port Chester, New York. The company has grown from 2 employees to well over 60. Former U.S. Congressman Barry M. Goldwater, Jr. serves on the board of directors and as spokesperson. Avram C. Freedberg currently serves on the board of directors of Connecticut Free Shakespeare, the Board of Trustees of the Bi-Cultural Day School, 2008 UJF Allocations Committee and CAS Strategic Planning Committee. Freedberg has been a direct marketer of products as diverse as a micro bible, a full gamut of video cassettes, general merchandise and skincare products. He has published twelve books and marketed the Original BeDazzler, the famous stud and rhinestone-setting machine. In 2005, he founded Maximum Entertainment Productions with Eva Price to satisfy his penchant for the theater. Giving back is very important to Freedberg. On behalf of National Collector's Mint, he has contributed more than $1.9 million to support charitable initiatives including various September 11 disaster relief funds.
