I'm a non-interventionist Libertarian/Conservative. While I 9.9 times of 10 find myself on the Right side of the political spectrum, I struggle to fully admit that I am Republican. Hence, I am not red, I'm orange. To the extent that Marcus Tullius Cicero was still a Roman politician, he has a great many quotes attributed to him with regards to freedom, reasoning, and logic. Reason should be used before choosing what side you are on. Finally, to speak plainly, I admit that I am biased. My bias is towards freedom: freedom from force and fraud, freedom from harm against others, freedom from omnipotent sources of tyranny that trample the rights of America's citizens. The life we have is only lived once; enjoy every minute of it, while it lasts. Lastly, I do want to caution you all that in the final analysis, this blog would contain thoughts and feelings that would be able to go on after I may depart from this Earth. One of my sons would be able to read this later in life, or perhaps a good friend who may miss me... |
