Introduction	The criminal justice system in America is a for profit business that enslaves millions of people and extorts money from the poor. Police are allowed to be thieves and murderers. Prosecutors and public defenders are almost always on the same side. Prisons don't "help" inmates. They breed new criminals. They teach men to be violent and racist. They take these people away from their families and many never return. Inadequate medical care turns a 2 year sentence into a death sentence for many. I have several loved ones who are currently incarcerated for non-violent drug offenses. One of them recently died, before his sentence was up, from melanoma. His requests for medical care were ignored and now he's gone.
