| Introduction | I’m 62 and retired—well, I should say disabled. A few years ago, doctors diagnosed me with Parkinson’s disease, which has forced me to change my plans. God is good and has blessed me in many ways. This new journey is another blessing, albeit with its challenges. I don’t write about Parkinson’s or its challenges; instead, I focus on the Scriptures. My lifelong passion has been to know God and His Word. Many people have written a great deal about every word and verse of the Scriptures. As the preacher said in Ecclesiastes, “Of the writing of many books, there is no end.” I write because I’m compelled to do so; it is part of my relationship with the Lord.
