Introduction | An historian by training and temperament, currently a retired academic librarian. Started wargaming in 1970 with Avalon Hill's board game "Stalingrad". Began gaming with 1/76 Airfix plastic medieval figures using TSR's "Chainmail" rules. Followed by 1/76 Airifx Napoleonic soldiers using Jack Scruby's Napoleonic rules. Migrated over the years through a variety of 20mm, 25/28mm, and now 54mm soldiers and periods. Not to mention an equally large number of Avalon Hill and SPI board games with a dash of FRP games along the way. Including the original three booklet D&D. |
