| Introduction | We are the Douglas family which consists of Dave, Pam, Brandon (17), Brittany (15), and Brooke (12). I have homeschooled our three children for ten years and studying across America has been a dream of mine since the beginning. In August on 2011 our Golden Retriever female delivered 12 puppies and this became our family project to raise money to travel across America. This was Bella's second liter so we knew what a joy it was to raise puppies and a great project that everyone could be involved in to earn money for our Across America fund. We sold 11 puppies (one puppy died after 2 days) and made enough money to pay for our trip. History was never my favorite subject in school when I was a child, but since teaching it to our children, it has been facinating. I hope to instill the love of learning God's story of the past by giving my kid's the opportunity to see history first hand. We are looking forward to a fabulous trip studying God's perfect plan for our courntry. |
