| Introduction | Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Helen Retana and I am the Reluctant Prophetess. I am a Messianic Jew who works in the Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance. And if you had told me five years ago that I would be writing a blog about listening to God and my personal experiences working with the Lord in these gifts, I would have laughed myself silly and asked you to take your meshuganah self out of my house. I did not believe in anything that dealt with “spiritual gifts”. I thought that is how television evangelists fleeced desperate people out of their money. That was until these gifts began to make my life very interesting. I want to invite you to explore with me the art of listening to God. Come along as I share my adventures in following where the Lord leads and having enough chutzpah to act on those “nudges from above”.
