| Introduction | By the grace of God I am who I am! No matter how far in the pit I have fallen, Jesus has never let go of me and He continues to show me more and more of his faithful mercies day after day. His Word is my life, my delight, and my joy. Nothing thrills me more than to share with others the life transforming power of the Word. I love to teach others how to draw closer to Him through journaling and scripture memory. I teach a women's Life Bible Study and coordinate the TAG Women's Mentoring Ministry (Touching Another Generation) at Houston's First Baptist Church, where my husband serves as the Missions Pastor. I also mentor young women, lead retreats, and speak about what Christ has accomplished in and through me whenever God gives me the opportunity. I have written about my scripture memory journey in the book, "Taking the Word to Heart." (available through Crossbooks.com) I also enjoy my awesome adult children: My son, Will and his wife Avery, and my daughter, Sarah. I am excited about the season of life that I now find myself in where I am able to pour into others all that God has poured into me. |
