| Introduction | ALAS. i always found the word to be funny. "Jerry proved himself to be unusually coherent, but alas, he fumbled on his speech come paragraph three." a sort of regret and/or need for compassion is expressed through that word. call it a preface to an unfortunate story or call it the veil that reveals humanity. everybody has a blemish or a bit of quirkiness to them. isn't life so much more acceptable and humorous when you savor them? |
