| Introduction | Ray Donald was born in Atlanta and raised in Conyers, Ga. He is 34 years old . He currently is an Automotive Technology teacher at a local high school. Ray is a loving and supportive husband and father. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and doing what he can for any one who needs help! His favorite past time is racing. He loves all racing, but drag racing holds a special place in his heart! Ray was diganosed with Cryptogenic Cirrhosis in early August 2009. Cryptogenic simply means that the cause is unknown. Ray’s cirrhosis was not caused by alcohol or hepatitis, which are the leading and normal causes. When the local doctors said they could not properly take his health case any further to help him, they referred us to a liver specialist, Dr. Ray Rubin, at Piedmont Hospital. Ray has since been added as a patient to the Mason Transplant Clinic at Piedmont. We have been very blessed and thank God for blessing us with such a knowledgeable and caring doctor and staff. Ray and his family are in good spirits and have a strong faith in God, but continue to ask to be kept in your prayers through this time of trials. |
