| Introduction | My name is Ellen Hamrick Potter, I am searching for my ancesters and while doing so, am trying to correct alot of wrong info.I am looking for pictures of each relative a young one and an older one, helps to see how they changed. My line starts in Ireland, moves to Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, Colorado, Nebraska, California and other States in between all of the others.A lot of Hamricks got to Illinois and stayed for many generations, I am from those lines. I will make a list of all the Surnames that have joined into our Family Tree. I would appreciate any info from any families related to me. I want truth and facts to back them, thats where marriage, death, birth,divorce, adoption papers help and pictures of grave stones. especially those with dates of birth and death. I have found a lot of family members having their children raised by other members of the family. Some don't even know they were adopted. Some guys had more than one wife and we have to try to sort out who belongs with what child. thats where family members can help me out. They know who belongs where and can get me the proof. Most stuff on this Blog will be about the Hamrick's and their journeys from place to place. |
