Introduction I'm middle-aged, single, and use a power chair because of osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as "the brittle bone disease." This is both central--and peripheral--to my existence. I have a bi-chambered heart in that my sensibilities are both Christian and Buddhist. I am a transplanted Southerner glad never to have lost all my accent. I believe that every event is proof of the possible and therefore must not be discounteD--AND that it's never too late to have a wild and gracious future. I have a passionate attachment to DietPepsi and don't particularly like vegetables! The last six years, since I've been concentrating on photography, I feel as though I've come home and finally found what I'm supposed to do. Here I let my pictures speak for themselves; in thebenigneye.blogspot.com I combine words and images.
Interests Photography, what it means to live in a body, Buddhism and Christianity, cats, mystery novels, making collages, knitting
Favorite Movies Yojimbo, The Stalking Moon, Ladyhawke, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, lots more, I like "movies" AND "films"
Favorite Music Old rock and roll, what is now called roots/Americana, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Buddy Miller, these days I pretty much listen to internet radio in particular Boot Liquor.com

When you spilled the milk, did it look like the moon?

No, the Gobi Desert glistening in the moonlight.
