Introduction	I am an elementary art teacher of students in grades kindergarten through five. I teach at 3 schools in midcoast Maine that are part of a larger district, known as RSU 20. The 3 towns where I teach, Searsport, Stockton Springs, and Frankfort, are located in the east side of the district. The other towns lay to the west of us, in the greater Belfast area. I am lucky enough to have my own classrooms at all 3 schools. I see students for 40 minutes once a week for the whole school year. This flies by fast when you account for instruction, demonstration, materials, work-time, and clean-up. I try to keep my art lessons varied, with a mix of long and short projects that gives kids different kinds of experiences with both 2-D and 3-D materials. Many of the lessons here I have borrowed or adapted from others online. I have found this to be an invaluable resource and started this website to join in on the sharing. I hope you enjoy looking at some of the projects we are working on!
