| Introduction | I have been building things since I was a little kid. I would tear apart my toys to see how they worked, and take junk my dad brought home from work and just make things. I get bored easily and tend to migrate to the man-cave/work shop. I have been into computers since the Apple][. Early computers I owned, Commodore 64, Toshiba T1800, then a Macintosh Plus. The Commodore 64 was the first to introduce me to the modem! A 300 baud device that hooked to my parents phone line. I called BBS's all over the US and constantly got yelled at for long distance bills. But then the internet came into my life. I started out with a 14.4kbps then a 56kbps modem, that was the fastest of the time, but I wanted faster! So I ordered a dual channel bonded ISDN line from the phone company wizzing away at 128kbps. I was in my teens at this time, that ISDN line was the only reason I got a job. Now a days I have a Gigabit connection that cost the same as the ISDN line did!
I am good with math, science, and spotting patterns, yet horrible in the grammar department, so please pardon my bad writing and run on sentences. |
