| Introduction | I grew up in the city, moved to the country, and discovered and fell in love with gardening. I enjoy taking pictures of my garden just as much, mainly to document all the changes that each season brings. But it's hard to garden year round in New England, that's where the paintings come in. Every year between Christmas and spring, I get my watercolors out and paint, referring to the thousands of garden photos I take during the year. I am trying very hard to do more art during the warmer months, even if it's just a sketch in my journal. I hope you'll stop by regularly to see what's happening both in my garden as well as in the studio. |
