| Interests | I am Skye. my life changed in 2009 when our first baby girl Evie was born ... & 2 years later in 2011 we were lucky enough to welcome our second baby girl Audrey. I started my little sewing business "evie and henry - creations for little people" after Evie was born because I was basically bored with "just" being a mum - don't get me wrong it's the best job in the world but I needed something more! Unfortunately after the birth of Audrey I just did'nt have the time to sew anymore (I am still working on this) & have had to put my little business on hold for the moment! I am someone who totally embraces change - I mean how boring would it be if everything was always the same!! I am hoping that becuase I don't have my sewing as my outlet at the moment I might give blogging a go ... I recently blogged my heart out about my life as a mum & felt a damn lot better for getting everything off my chest. As I surf the net & read other people's blogs I feel like there are so many other people in the same shoes ... Oh so, before I go on too much - I just turned 30 & live in Hobart, Tasmania. I am a stay at home mum & my partner works in the mining industry so is away most of the time ... hence my reason to need some sort of an outlet!! Our children are beautiful but very full on ... and Evie NEVER stops talking ... I know exactly where she gets it from too!! (its pay back for all the times everyone else has had to listen to me ramble on!!) Haha ... anyway - this is my blog ... hopefully soon I will be open for business again ... but until then I will just ramble away with whatever comes out!! Thanks for stopping by Skye :) xX |
