| Introduction | Here are a few things you may not know, and probably never wanted to: 1) I think vegetarianism is the best solution for the person who doesn't like meat. 2) I roller skate. In broad daylight. - and I don't care if it looks silly. 3) I truly believe that there is no greater form of entertainment than a book. 4) I believe that electronic devices should be under the control of parents. Furthermore, if the parents don't understand the device as well as the child, then it should be removed. 5) I am convinced that the generation born in the 70's, is the last generation of children to truly have a childhood. 6) Cooking is almost as therapeutic as reading. 7) I don't like to swim, despite the fact that I can. 8) I don't talk a lot, when I don't have to. It's not that I don't have anything to say, because I do. It's just that sometimes, I don't feel like talking. Or listening. I like silence. 9) The smell of toast is wonderful. 10) Spanish Guitar sounds best on a rainy day. |

Dear Aunt Basil, I cannot fathom the amount of consideration which went into my gift. My pancakes are more delectible, my french toast more succulent, now that the syrup which is poured upon it comes from the rooster syrup dispenser you sent to me.
