Introduction When not writing blog posts and poetry, I serve as a Regional Development Team Leader /Senior Philanthropy & Planned Giving Adivsor for ChildFund International. Previously, I served as Director of Planned Giving for Humboldt State University as well as President & CEO of two charitable foundations, among other philanthropic roles. I've been fortunate to win a few literary awards over the years. My husband, former head of the California Raptor Center at UC Davis, and I live with our two cats on the far North Coast of California among redwoods, ocean, lots of wildlife and creative, engaged people.
