My Life... as a One-Parent Family!

Introduction	I felt that it was important to have a community for single parents because raising a child is tough when there are two parents. But to raise a child or children with only one parent well that’s just another ball game. There are good times and there are bad times just like any family so we ride the same roller-coaster of life just like any other family. Only difference is there is just one parent to check on everyone to assure we are all strapped in tight for the ride! My two kids and I became a One-Parent Family when they were 3 and 7 years old. I had to figure out how to make this work and how not to help my children to see that their family was just as strong and just as good any two-parent family!
