| Introduction | A self-admitted “retro junkie” who hails from Washington DC, Onyx Nightshade draws inspiration from the diverse club scene from the 80s and 90s and injects his own modern twist. Likely a reflection of his multicultural upbringing, Onyx especially likes to blur the line between genres. Since cutting his remixing teeth in 2005, Onyx has commissioned remixes for Mark Croft, Madison Park, Distorted Reality, and even the legendary Herb Alpert, just to name a few. As a remixer, Onyx is known for giving a song an entirely new face. In 2007, Onyx dipped his toe into the pool of video game music. His current ongoing project, "Street Fighter II: In The House," is gaining attention and will be complete this summer. |
