| Introduction | I am profound deaf and lost all hearing at 18 months old. It was caused by spinal meningitis and abnormal bone growth inside the cochleas. I was implanted on the right ear on November 17, 2005. Had it activated on December 19th. Implant worked for me for a short while and it simply diminished. In a result, it became ineffective for me. |
