| Introduction | You’re late to Advisory so you take an odd route to avoid hall traffic. You're passing a set of back stairs that are used primarily by kissing couples and the occasional lone when you do a double-take as you see a flash of lime green coming down the stairs. Upon further investigation you realize that this unusual bit of color belongs to a pair of lime green cowboy boots (size nine) which are connected to a pair of long but voluminous skinny-jeaned legs, which are carrying a freshman of relatively average size wearing an oversized green marching band jacket over an ice-blue penguin t-shirt. Her hair's some goldish color in-between the ranges of blonde and brown and makes it to her waist in the back, where its split ends shed and cling to the fleece of her jacket (which could really use a wash.) In one hand she carries a large black flute case stuck with purple duct tape; in the other she cradles a sci-fi novel and a strange wooden box. You can't quite tell what color her eyes are--you could be staring straight into them and never quite decide on a definite hue. You’re seeing Manon, and she sees you too. Now get to class. |
