| Introduction | I'm in my eighth year teaching general music and this is my fourth year directing the Furr Elementary Chorus. I studied at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in NYC and lived there till 2006 before coming to Charlotte. Outside the classroom I'm involved in the Charlotte area music scene with my own group and fill-in as a sideman for various gigs. I love all kinds of music but jazz is definitely my favorite! I love sharing my knowledge of music with the kids and cherish the opportunity to be a good role model for future musicians! |
