| Introduction | We're a family intent on making our cruising dreams come true. Our first sailboat was a Helms 25 that we lovingly restored and reluctantly sold. Our current boat is our beloved s/v Island Bound, an Irwin 28 mkIV that wanders the Great Lakes and sometimes lives on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. |

Erin has a bachelor's degree in education/teaching from Michigan State University and a master's degree in educational leadership from Western Michigan University. She is currently a middle school science teacher. Erin's interests include sailing, teaching and leadership. Hannah's interests include sailing, gymnastics, art and animals.
