| Introduction | I'm a communications officer at the Oikocredit International office in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. I worked as a journalist Melbourne, Australia (my home town) before I moved to Amsterdam. I have now been with Oikocredit for the past 18 months. The Uganda Study Tour 2010 will bring together 12 participants from seven different countries. Their involvement in Oikocredit varies from being paid staff to volunteers and external parties. Witha small group, I'll visit four project partners. In Kampala that includes, Rucref, Opportunity Uganda and BASE technologies (Barefoot) and in Masaka I'll visit clients of farmers' cooperative, CEDO. |
