Introduction Kitchen Parade is the food and recipe column written by Alanna Kellogg, a second-generation food writer and a home cook in a home kitchen. In 1959, my Mom started the column for our family paper in northern Minnesota. Today it's published online at Kitchen Parade and features 'fresh seasonal recipes for everyday healthful eating and occasional indulgences'. I also write the award-winning food blog A Veggie Venture, a month-long project that turned into cooking a vegetable in a new way every single day for an entire year. Now A Veggie Venture delivers veggie inspiration from Asparagus to Zucchini, from simple sides to vegetable salads to soups and even desserts. It's my food playground, a true 'food blog'.
