Introduction	I became interested in old vehicles at a very young age, as my father was a collector and restorer of veteran, vintage and classic cars and motorcycles between the mid 60's (Mark 5 Jaguar) and his untimely death in 1980. My major focus now is on Velocette motorcycles and a couple of tasty non-Velo vintage restoration projects waiting in the wings. My wife is happy that these will keep me out of her way when work pressures begin to taper off - hopefully not too many years from now. Opportunities to travel overseas in the past 10 years, usually combining work and a motorcycle rally, have led to contact with like-minded souls in NZ, Canada, the USA, Holland and England. I feel fortunate to have all the makings of a very rich tapestry indeed.
