| Introduction | We started our ecological smallholding late may this year, 2013. Our goal is to be as self sufficient as possible by creating a permaculture garden where diversity is the key word. We started out slowly to observe and absorb the land and the ecology here. - This years crops are more than twenty dinfferent vegetables; from potatoes & rootcrops to beans & peas, brassicas & tomatoes. We also got 6 types of softfruit and a lot of very old fruittrees, a 'henlibary' with 15 hens and will hopefully soon get our first ducks to help us with the pest control. |
