| Introduction | I am an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Florida State University. My research focuses on the application of technology and systematic instruction to academic learning, particularly in the area of mathematics, for students with autism and other developmental disabilities. I teach courses in the Exceptional Student Education program related to assessment and general curriculum access. I have published several articles and book chapters on academic instruction and evidence-based practices for students with developmental disabilities, and have presented on this topic to teachers and other researchers at national and international conferences. I was the 2015 recipient of the TASH Alice Hayden emerging leader award. |
