Introduction	I'm currently an associate professor of politics & history at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC, as well as the Swink Professor for Excellence in Teaching for the 2011-2012 academic year. I primarily teach classes in American politics, public law, and public administration; my research has grown into an interest in North Carolina politics, especially its campaigns and elections. I hope this blog will help educate and generate discussion about Tar Heel politics.
