| Introduction | I was born in Oklahoma, and grew up there and on the island of Guam. My wife and I have been married for 23 years and have one daughter; aged 11. I've always found politics to be a bit unsavory, but events are getting out of control and the time has come to get off my rear end. Liberals are literally ruining the country I love, and this has led me to look for answers beyond the framework of current political processes. It's my prayer that this never goes beyond speculation; that events will change for the better. But I fear a majority in this country are lost to the dark side of entitlements or ambivalent to the possible outcomes. If you want to label me, I would have to say I'm a Reagan fiscal conservative with traditional social leanings. |
| Interests | I would like to consider myself an amateur geologist. Volcanos and earthquakes are awesome reminders of the power of nature. I thought living in Oklahoma meant never experiencing either one. But on November 6th 2011, I was just 30 miles away from the epicenter of a 5.6 earthquake that lasted one minute. It sloshed the water out of my swimming pool and did minor damage to our home. My wife did not share my enthusiasm. I also go to Kentucky once a year to restore a historic cemetery just south of the Ohio River. This is my greatest passion. |
