Introduction	My name is Sandy Mignogna and I live on Dolce Vita Farm in Quakertown, PA. This blog is dedicated to my passion - the Lagotto Romagnolo. I first discovered this breed back in 1998, and knew then that I would someday be owned by this beautiful breed. In 2002, I traveled to Italy to meet with Luciano Bernabei, someone I believe is one of the biggest contributors to what this breed is today. After meeting his dogs, my thoughts were confirmed! Although it still was not the right time for me to acquire a Lagotto. After following and researching this breed for over a decade, I finally imported my first two Lagotti in 2010. They are such a joy to live with and they were absolutely worth the wait! We moved onto our farm back in 1997 and named it La Dolce Vita Farm. Also residing here on our farm are horses, alpacas, llamas, and chickens. La Dolce Vita is an Italian phrase which means "the sweet life". Every day I wake up on our farm I couldn't imagine it being called anything else but La Dolce Vita! Life is good.
