| Introduction | Ben is an award-winning American film producer, screenwriter, and director. He is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, was the winner of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Grant for screenwriting, and has worked for legends such as Martin Scorsese and Roger Corman. Ben's movies have appeared on Walt Disney Video, SONY Video, BET, HBO, Cinemax, and the Encore Channel. His stories have been published in the United States, China and Japan. His historical book about the real-life swordsman and adventurer, Col. Thomas Monstery, entitled "Self-Defense for Gentlemen and Ladies," was published in April 2015 by North Atlantic Books and was released by Penguin-Random House. In 2017, his book "Irish Swordsmanship: Fencing and Dueling in Eighteenth Century Ireland" was published by Hudson Society Press. |
