| Introduction | My husband, Guy, and I are college sweethearts who have been married for 7 1/2 years. We love Jesus, each other, our son, our families, our friends, and our 3 lab/lab mixes, Ellie, Maddie, and Abbie. We struggled to have children for several years. We went through fertility treatments for 1 1/2 years and were told by 3 doctors that our chances of having a biological child without pursuing IVF were slim to none. While we were on a break from fertility treatments as a result of my tearing my ACL, we found out that we were expecting our first child. Shepherd was born in December 2009. God is so good, and I thank Him every day for showing His grace and mercy on us. |
