In a nutshell, I'm the author of 8 books, a wife and mother of three "grownups", and the proud grandmother of Loftin and Emmett Propst. The latest book in my childrens series about my grandmother is now OUT! "The Further Adventures of Ociee Nash" was released September 1. Belle Books borrowed the title from the marvelous movie ("The Adventures of Ociee Nash" which was based on my first novel, "A Flower Blooms on Charlotte Street". Interests	Friends and family, two dear grandsons, walking, swimming, art, theater, music, movies, mountains, seashore, travel of all kinds
Favorite movies	Too many to list! My husband Jamey and I go almost every week. My most favorites include Crazy Heart and Precious.
Favorite music	Jazz,classical,show tunes, classic rock and roll, country, especially Johnny Cash. AND I still miss Harry Chapin
Favorite books	At present, "The Help" and "The Same Kind of Different as Me"
