| Introduction | I'm a restaurant manager. I was in a relationship for 6 years, even though it seemed to go dead after the first year. Mostly because being a turtle I was slow to react and being an optimist I was always hoping it would get better. These are the poems I wrote to the women in my life. I thank them for the lessons they taught me both good and bad and I will take those lessons to my grave. I don’t write anymore, there is no purpose, but I will leave this so others will learn. I will also leave you one last thought; “There are many parts of my life that I’m not proud of, many loose threads, untidy parts I would like to remove. But when I pull on those threads I unravel the tapestry of my life.” |
