| Introduction | I am a billboard for the Muscular Dystrophy Association! As a volunteer for several years, and an aspiring pediatric neurologist, my life has become MDA. I am currently a Junior pre-med biology student, studying vigorously for the MCAT exam and looking at medical schools to apply to. |
| Interests | The first time I can remember volunteering I was about five years old and I was helping my mother making stockings for foster care children. From such a young age I was hooked on giving back to my community. As Miss Lake County I have so many opportunities to give back to the people that made me the young woman I am today. My major focus is MDA but I love to volunteer at any chance I get. I also love to dance and have studied many styles including pointe,ballet, jazz,tap, hip hop, african jazz, and many others along the way. |
