Introduction	The picture, a young mountaineer, I'm 66 now. I have a forest of interest, unfortunately I have never settled upon any particular tree. I am a generalist and that would mean I know a bit about everything and not much about anything. And then there is my inability to remember the spelled word, names and dates. This is a result of asthma and the drugs used to combat it. So a Book must be constantly at my finger tips or I can not function. I have landed short in my life because my books were often inaccessible. The internet is changing this, but it's a bit late. Physical jobs were impossible for me because I could NOT moderate them. I became a mountain cross country backpacker I know this sounds silly but I could stop when my body said stop you can not do that on a 9 to 5 job. I would often break off summiting a peak do to asthma or other injuries. It kept me healthy but a real job in the high country was not possible. The only worth while job I have ever had was as a helper to my own Mother. These Blogs are a late but welcomed attempt to do some good before I LOSE MY BOOTS. The writing may be lousy but the intent will come through. I am my Mothers son, and proud of it. --- tics
