Introduction	Mike was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. When it came time for college, he moved out to Durango, CO and has lived there ever since. He has worked with many ministries during his time in Durango including Young Life, youth and college groups at a local church, and Climbing for Christ both domestically and overseas. As for Rachel, she grew up in Serbia and Croatia, the daughter of missionaries. When she was thirteen, her family moved back to the States. She spent the rest of her childhood in Colorado Springs. While living there, she did short-term mission work with orphans in Eastern Europe. Eventually, Rachel made her way down to Durango where she got involved with a local church helping out with their college ministry, and later also became involved with Climbing for Christ locally and overseas. Mike and Rachel were eventually married in the summer of 2011. After being wed and after a lot of prayer, they felt a strong calling from the Lord to jump into full-time collegiate ministry.
