Introduction Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. *Robert Frost* "Girl w/ high self esteem decides to run a food bank..for free.." 10 years later, it turns out living at poverty level isn't that bad at all.. it IS worth the ride. :) And I'm still vain as hell. H! I'm Shannon. Turns out God knocked me down so He could stick me right where He wants me.. and this is my ongoing story.. about a girl trying to stay on her path! I'm loving this whole 'followers' thing.. read mine, I'll read yours! And nice to meet you!
Interests I am Mother of Manta. I am the offspring of hippies, and in my blood runs Indian Warriors, Celtic Princesses, and Hillbilly Moonshiners. I dance in the rain and under the full moon. I pray for my Angels daily, and laugh in the face of obstacles and catastrophe's. I am happy. I'm a bit of a mental case. I love spiders, believe in elves and faeries, and truly believe my brother will one day take over the world. I have the most intelligent, beautiful daughter in the world. She has a spirit that is uniquely her own, yet is reminiscent of all the strong women down our line. She is my biggest gift. I'm a very passionate, opinionated emotional person. I have no patience for materialistic things or people that need them, yet I will listen all day to someone fighting a substance addiction. They are the ones fighting the true demons of this world. I can't stand people that do things like cut down ancient forests and kill whales. They need to be put down and out of my misery.
Favorite Movies I love Sex In The City, because it makes me feel glamorous. I love Now and Then and YaYa's, because they tell the true story of real girlfriends.. no matter what you do, they will always love you. I love Practical Magic, because again it is the story of real sisterhood, and it reminds you that there is always a way out of the most horrific problems. Even if you have to bury it in the garden.
Favorite Books The Bible, To Kill a Mockingbird, Mother Earth News, Thoreau
