Introduction	I am a follower of Christ, wife, mother, horsewoman, and writer. As for printed words, mine have appeared in Guideposts magazine and their affiliate publications, The Chicken Soup for the Soul books, and many equine themed magazines including Arabian Horse Magazine, Horse of Kings, and Equus, to name a few. I am also editor of The Northwest Horse Source Magazine.
Interests	Reading, writing, gardening (when I'm not riding), road trips,and horses.
Favorite movies	The Insider, Sea Biscuit, Ironman, The Thornbirds, Ann of Green Gables, As Good As It Gets, The Italian Job...hard to name them all.
Favorite music	Il Divo (much to my family's dismay); Kenny Chesney; Third Day; Mary Chapin Carpenter; George Winston; Daughtry, The Calling, and good 80's rock (I admit to having a soft spot for the "hair bands"--yep, saw Van Halen in concert.
Favorite books	There are so many but here are only a few: The Bible; Sea Biscuit; The Shack; The Kite Runner; A Thousand Splendid Suns; The Poisonwood Bible; The Rapture of Canaan; Blue Like Jazz; On Writing; The Shawshank Redemption; Traveling Mercies; Into Thin Air/Into the Wild; The Chronicles of Narnia and anything CS Lewis; The Copper Scroll....the list can go on and on. Fiction, non-fiction, if it's well written and thought provoking I like it.
